kayak cheating
drafting thru the lily pads
behind a dozen geese
snake-like
ripples kick up the carp
screwing in the shallows
by the time i returned for take-out
another goose rendezvous
readying for put-in
pecking shoreline heads
sift thru the grass
white bottoms in the air
wings drip
hot breeze
